So I've been active at SS for some time now, using the same email here to login, as well to log into my YouTube app. I view both YouTube and Sanctioned Suicide on the same phone.

As you all may be aware, that YouTube puts suggested videos in one's "home" section. Among the vids listed are shallow Hollywood gossip type shit, eg.: "Celebs who had not the chance to enjoy their fame before their death". The celebrities in question all died of accidents or health issues. But at the end of the vid is the standard "If you or anybody else you know is having suicidal thoughts, please call the suicide prevention hotline at ...."

That ending message has appeared in several different videos and though it could be all coincidence that YouTube is simply placing suggested videos that have these end messages, or perhaps there is some way that the "system" (be it YouTube or a larger tracking system) is aware I come here to SS—and in turn placing these videos that contain these end messages?

Any of you tech-savvy out there feel free to chime in on this.

Google owns Chrome. Switch to Firefox or duckduckgo and also use a VPN. I use thunder VPN.

So it's an algorithm I assume then. Dignitas is more-or-less pro-ctb, wheras I'm getting vids with end messages that are stating pro-life.

I think so, myself. And it doesn't give me suicide prevention hotlines!
Bonus!! Lol! I wonder would my filter block on my phone still apply? I'm with three network, they have an adult filter as standard I have to phone them to remove it but I haven't been bothered

A lesser concern: if would be ctb'ers are being tracked for potential arrest / detainment—though I'm currently in a European country, and the phone number I use on my smart phone is actually from another European country, neither countries though are the U.K. luckily.

If you have ever PM'd anybody using the word "suicide" than without a doubt you are getting such messages from FB. This would also include if you made these remarks on your public facebook mode, or just in your friends only comment section. Their system may also pick up on phrases such as "feel like killing myself" or "I don't want to go on". Facebook is definitely an Orwellian tool, and it was asserted a while ago that they share their data with government, especially in the USA.

You have to watch this with FB. Nothing is safe to say (either publically in facebook or even in private mode) unless one is discussing things like celebrities, makeup tips for one's pet, or equally shallow, dumb-ass shit.

I haven't used the word "suicide" in facebook PMs, certainly not recently since I barely use FB. It's likely they got me through shadow profiling
I use blockers that are supposed to contain FB's reach, but apparently they don't work.

I would not doubt that—makes sense given the scandals that FB have been involved in.
Despite lawsuits it will continue.

Here is one example of what I see. In looking further into this I notice that the video presentation has to mention about someone's ctb at some point in the video, then at the end one sees the PSA (public service announcement) on self deliverance—such is the case of Willie Nelson's son ctb:
