Just said goodbye to my best friend of 11 years

So I just thanked my best friend of over a decade for being my friend and said thank you for all the great memories we made over the years just in case we won't see again. Either my eating disorder will kill me or I will do it myself (I'm really scared of both options, dying from an ED can take weeks or months, and suicide is just scary in general) The third option is recovery but it's looking quite unlikely at the moment.

I'm sorry, that sounds heartbreaking. I hope it won't be the last time you spoke. Best friends that stick with you for eleven years are rare to find and you probably mean a lot to each other.

Wow, tht's a tough situation- he may not know what to do even though he still cares. Are there things you wish he would do to try to help?
