Any personal anecdotes, news stories etc on people dying this way?
I live close to a very tall waterfall (over 500 feet from the top to the first "drop"). I probably won't go with this method because I've hiked up there before and my SI kicked in intensely, also it is a tourist destination. Still the idea fascinates me.
