I laughed because you put "reported." Before that I wrote, "No, you don't get to set the rules." I didn't laugh at the post I was responding to.what was the thing you were laughing at then?
Honestly, the minute you accused people people on this site of being "DA" or fake, you should have been banned, so you have no right to talk. You're lucky a warning from the mod is all you received.says a lot about you putting a laughing my ass off emoji to my late aunt! anyway, enjoy ur incoming ban
are you sad that I am not banned?Honestly, the minute you accused people people on this site of being "DA" or fake, you should have been banned, so you have no right to talk. You're lucky a warning from the mod is all you received.
Nope. I am very sorry that you lost someone to cancer, though.are you sad that I am not banned?
Thank you.Nope. I am very sorry that you lost someone to cancer, though.
Oh my. Can I ask what method you used to lose yoour legs?I wrote them an email to ask if I am eligible, although I have strong doubts about it as I am only 28 y.o. and I'm not terminally ill, but disabled, recently lost my legs in suicide attempt.
Oh my. Can I ask what method you used to lose yoour legs?
Sign me the fuck up.because even Canada has legalized assisted suicide for some healthy people, if they are financially desperate and have no hope for a better future.
that illness is out of choice. suicide is intentional. i cant even type that illness out bcs i lost my so very dear person to it. again, show respect.
it means that even people who don't want to die get cancer (just like my dear aunt, god bless her soul, only 26), whereas suicide is a personal and willing choice.
so there is no offence if somebody around you killed themselves and we talk about suicide, since that person wanted to die. whereas people who got cancer and died, did not necessarily want to die. capish?
Suicide is not a result of mental illness. That's a pro-lifer way of thinking. No one chooses to have mental or physical pain/diseases.
Therefore, suicide is not a choice. It is a way of ending an unbearable situation.
I'm so sorry for your loss; you have my deepest sympathy.
Suicide is not a result of mental illness. That's a pro-lifer way of thinking.
Stefan Zweig was not mentally ill.
You are not contributing anything to this forum you are just accusing people, people who are suffering.... You are the pro-lifer here.Suicide is not a result of mental illness. That's a pro-lifer way of thinking.
Stefan Zweig was not mentally ill.
dunno. anyway, lets call it a night. im depressed. You call me a pro-lifer????
How did I troll? Is it ok to say "I hope I get cancer" on a public forum?I'm sorry for your loss @Istanbulite but this doesn't give you the right to invalidate and derail/troll. Last verbal warning.
That's great news and I would hope that it gives you more than hope. Perhaps a sense of peace of mind and certainty for instance. If it's been done before it can be done again (as fallacious a statement as that might be).Pegasos has an article on their site about a woman with ME/CFS getting assisted suicide so that gives me a little bit more hope that they accept the condition.
I think people with CFS shouldn't be entitled to Euthanasia because it would mean that Doctors are forced to kill people with no biomarkers that indicate they (the CFS patient) couldn't do it themselves (Euthanasia should be reserved for those who are physically (not mentally) paralysed and can communicate in some way right up to the point of being fed the poison or being injected). Surely like Charlie's grandfather who jumped out of bed when offered a chance to go to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory the "Chronically fatigued" could skip on down to the pharmacy to get the drugs they need (once we've legalised assisted suicide for all/the mentally ill) and kill themselves without a doctor injecting them or feeding them poison like a mother feeds her helpless baby.I dunno what the motivation is in denying people with CFS the right to die- especially the more severe cases where people are bedbound or on feeding tubes and can hardly move- because the medical establishment offers no treatments or advice other than, suck it up.
The fact that so many illnesses throughout history have been seen as fake and pseudoscientific until a biomarker emerges, leaving ill patients left to rot, only solidifies the notion that we need an umedicalised right to die. Doctors should not be calling the shots about our bodily autonomy when there are so many ailments they can't even understand, much less treat. Who let them be the gatekeepers?
Hi, is anyone here going to an assisted suicide clinic? I'd really like to go to dignitas and have been trying to work up the nerve.
Could we please chat?
Please let me know and I'll send you a message.
Thank you!!
Adam actually had help from Philip Nitschke to get Nembutal. Pissed me off he won't help me and I'm 29. Stupid people and media harassed Nitschke, now he only helps old people. Adam was really suffering and I was happy someone actually helped end his pain. That's great news and I would hope that it gives you more than hope. Perhaps a sense of peace of mind and certainty for instance. If it's been done before it can be done again (as fallacious a statement as that might be).
I just want to remind everyone (as I've said this before in another Euthanasia and assisted suicide thread) that people in their early and mid twenties have gotten the greenlight in Belgium (all Belgians) on the grounds of mental illness, one 29 year old Dutch woman went through with an assisted suicide (in the Netherlands), Canada is making it possible for the mentally ill to receive an assisted suicide starting next March (2023) which was largely the result of 27 year old Adam Meier Clayton's efforts to raise awareness and influence others before he committed suicide practically simulating an assisted suicide as he ordered drugs off the dark web (iirc), so for young adults living in places like New Zealand, Spain or Austria (all recently legalised assisted suicide), I say keep fighting for legalising assisted suicide for the "mentally ill"! (a blanket term that really means assisted suicide for all). There's only so much more misery this world can take before people are out on the streets setting themselves on fire in protest of the degradation they are reduced to by being withheld the opportunity for an assisted suicide.
