that's honestly one of my biggest fears because not only i would be more miserable being alive it would also make me more dependent on people. when i attempt i want to make sure i'm gone for good.

Absolutely! I am terrified of my body becoming paralysed if I fail. I fear I would never have another chance again because the people in my life are very much okay with leaving me alive and suffering.

That at any moment, some accident could happen — I could fall and hit my head, or be in a car crash, and lose the ability to CTB. I would suffer for decades and cause pain to others. Paralysis, Alzheimer's, dementia, strokes. Honestly, that's one of the reasons why I want to CTB.

my friend and her family died in a car crash that wasn't even their fault, i would rather have control over my death than some drunk idiot

Is my biggest fear without a doubt, that's why I avoid methods such as hanging or overdose.
I'm more of a gun person, quick, instantaneous and very lethal.

Not really. If I don't die immediately, I'll die in ICU as a vegetable unaware of my situation. The doctors will just unplug me once they realize that my insurance will run out and they won't be getting paid. Plus, it's a risk I understand and am very willing to take. I need out of this life and world.
