I'm thinking about suicide even tho i have religious faith

I'm of jewish belief and in Judaism it is believed that your sould will get a punishment in the afterlife if you kill yourself becouse it goes against the will of God (who has the right to decide when you will die) and after an extensive suffering you reincarnate, The only drawback I see to suicide is hurting loved ones but afterlife punishment isn't one of them becouse i suffered extensively in life so nothing could really be too much, God doesn't help me anyways despite all my prayers, I don't got a problem with being reincarnated again as long as I will not fuck up my next life

He understands that the birth of sin brings unavoidable suffering and harm into this world and I genuinely don't believe you would be punished or condemned for choosing to end it on your own terms. I'm catholic. the afterlife is a major stumbling block for me also. I did attempt, said a lengthy prayer, and was revived. entry denied. we belive in purgatory . we belive we can be forgiven eternal sins, but there will be temporal sins to account for. murder is a hefty one.

Of course Manmade religion has conditioned us to believe in many harmful ideologies. I believe in a forgiving God. He knows what he created. He knows the evil and suffering that exists on this earth, and I believe that when the bible says all believers are forgiven for ALL (past, present and future) sins, that includes suicide. Although I don't believe suicide is a sin; At least not more sinful than lying, stealing or cheating. And if we can be forgiven for THOSE things then surely we can be forgiven for choosing to end our own suffering. I hope that any believer reading this knows you are understood and still loved by our God. Still (and always) worthy of God's love and a place in heaven. That's the point of forgiveness. But that's just what I've come to believe after my own extensive bible study.
