Hey, I'm not sure if anybody cares to read this but I'm a 20 year old m from Australia and recently lost my best friend to suicide. He left me a note, and he had mentioned that he met people throughout this site and found his chosen method.

I have read countless posts throughout this forum, and it hurts me so much that life had led you down this path. I could never understand the vast amount of trauma and pain it has taken all of you to reach this point, but please try to stay strong. I'm not sure if this could be a sign to anyone, but although the amount of pain I'm in missing my best friend, it hurts me more that he will never get to experience the little things in life ever again.

I'm not sure if anybody wants to just talk, but I would love to help and support you in any way possible. I'm sorry life has been unfair to you all :(

I hope so, he went through a hard break-up but it hurts me because I don't think that he has found peace at all. To find peace is to reduce suffering, there isn't any peace when you lose everything. He as lost the sound of rain on his window, the shows we would stay up and watch together, he has lost his chance of fighting. I know that people on this forum have spent their entire life fighting and they are tired, and I envy your strength, and this forum is filled with people way stronger than me, but please just one more day, one more fight. I know my friend made a mistake, and I know that he regrets it so much. His pain has vanished, but with that so has his peace.

I'm sorry, I hope she is still with you in memories. I have felt anger naturally towards my friend, I have been in weeks of crippling pain, but my pain could never amount to his, and for that I can't be angry. He came from no place of malice, and nobody does that commits suicide. He was misunderstood, and feel into a void where he felt he had no other option, when he really did. I just want to help the next Noah, because I know there are countless just like him, that just needed to know that it wasn't the only option.

I still sleep on her mattress, with her pillow and doona, wear her clothes, wear her perfume, her jewellery, cook with her wooden spoon.....yeah her memory is always with me.
