  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Absolutely yes.
You can also add 100% fail proof to the wish list of this button to make it more attractive.
I'm in.

I'd probably push it when I have a death wish, and would be taken to a nice virtual world I can control, explore, and relax in

Yes that would be great.

I'd just want to decide when and where. Though I'm pretty much good to go.

Fear of failure is what's holding me back. Being in a more sad and sorry state if I fail. This sounds idyllic. Yes please!

No, actually. Not if it was painless.

I don't deserve a painless death--only the most excruciating and painful way out is right for me.

If that button has a pain slider, then I would consider it.

So re-thinking. I wouldn't push it, but can I keep it for later? That I would do.

Yes, 100%! Although, I might not press it right this minute. I'd give it one more chance - one more month to make sure I'm truly done with life. Then, if things didn't improve, I'd press it without hesitation.

you get the chance to press a button which does the following

-makes you die
-no pain while dying , no suffocation effect , not any kind of effect that makes you feel well in pain
Would you do it? I certainly would i cant stand this cruel world anymore and i dont think the world wants me anymore either
I edited out the unnecessary stuff. Feeling no pain or other kind of physical discomfort would have been enough of a reason for me to push it without hesitation. However, observing the obvious fact such a button doesn't exist, what's the point in asking? Surely there must be some reasoning behind it. Or were you just bored?
The closest thing to pressing that button would be to pull the trigger of a gun (preferably a shotgun). It's quick and painless.
I think there's a lot more technicalities involved than people here would like to aknowledge. There's a record of a man by the name of Phineas Gage, who took a metal rod 3.2 cm in diameter through his skull and lived long afterwards. I believe if you're inexperienced with guns and don't have sufficient knowledge of human anatomy, you run the risk of enduring a terrible agony even in a seemingly ideal I-have-a-shotgun scenario. You can have half of your face and neck blown off while remaining conscious and survive. That's why I came to believe that no real life analog of the button exists. However, hanging oneself with the 'long drop' method is close enough, minus the painless part.

If I could hold on to it for a while, if it's at my disposal--I would wait until I sort all my affairs into order and say meaningful farewells to everyone. Then I would go to my favorite place in my home town, lie on the grass, light a cigarette, and after finishing it, I would press the button.

instantly, without even thinking about it. I'm done with pretending like my body isn't giving out in real time. It'll be nice to not be in pain for once

Damn yes!!! That would be perfect as it's just the dying experience I'm scared of. I'm not scared of being dead tho as we all know it's coming but the experience to be pain free and feel nothing. I'm dreaming now 😏
