Discussion If some form of afterlife was out there, would you CTB or no?

When I say afterlife, this can mean any instance of what can happen after: ending up in heaven/hell, being reincarnated, anything.

If you knew things like this could happen to you, would you still CTB or no? Why? In my case, I'd just go for it. Fuck it.

Generally speaking, its stands for "Catch The Bus" referring to ending the painful journey. Its intersting though how many other phrases fit the acronym just as well such as "Cease to Be"

I personally find the afterlife and associated after incarnations to be things made up by human beings to explain the unknown and give hope where most can't deal with the idea that "this is all there is". I view it pretty much from an Occam's Razor type thinking since there are so many conflicting versions of the same tales that just seem to be made up to give comfort or compel people to stay around in misery. If there was some definitive proof of such a thing, it might alter my approach if there was some sort of penalty for opting out before the merciful natural end.

I'm in my following playthrough right now FFX. Bouncing back between X and VIII (PSX).
This is hoping Aerith would let me rest too. Kind and gentle nature.
