Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

When I commit, the most important reaction that would hurt me are my dogs. No matter how I do it. I'd prefer using a firearm or hanging, but im also considering hanging. I probably won't do an overdose because there's a low chance that'll even work. Anyway, I wonder if my dogs will miss me. Will they be sad when they see my dead body? I love my dogs more than anything, their names are Haven and Oliver, if anyone cares, lol. Haven is very attached to me due to her past. Would it be selfish for me to ctb knowing my dog has attachment issues? I just feel so guilty, but its the only way out.

it's not selfish, but if that's something that concerns you, haven and oliver will miss you so much. people like to say our pets believe we abandon them when we die, & thats probably true, but if they find you dead i feel it troubles them a lot. i have a cat, but she entered the room when we found my brothers body, and she was showing symptoms of depression some weeks after. she loved him a lot, and i feel smelling him must've given her the hint that he was gone. that's not to say your pups won't recover, but i think it'll affect them especially since they're attached to you.

Dogs are loyal animals, social, and surprisingly intelligent. So for your dogs they will, realistically, miss you (especially Haven.)

That's a wonderful name you gave her btw.

Sadly - yes - and they are not stupid, they do know already I can guess - that's kind of no-exit situation. You can give them for adoption at most - at least they won't see you dead - but well...I may be spitting bullsh*t but I remember my grandparents' dog was suspiciously well aware when my grandpa got to the hospital and was in very bad state - he was acting weird until my grandpa left the hospital - during the whole time I was taking care of him so it's not like he could see the ambulance or whatever
