Hi, I tried breathing in the Nitrogen gas through a hose while holding my nostrils for over a minute 2 times. I started feeling a slight headache and mostly like I wasn't receiving oxygen but I didn't pass out. I felt like I was somewhat getting close. I also felt out of breath while my heart started to beat faster. How soon in the process am I supposed to pass out? Please help. Should I take sleeping pills. I'm doing this with a hose for testing purposes then when I'm ready with a full face mask. I also suddenly while writing this 10 minutes after feel very very sleepy. Is this a Sign. It feels so good, my heads heavy.

I think it's worth being careful about this method because there's a higher chance of brain damage or permanent effects than an immediate, painless death. If you've still got headaches, it is worth getting checked at a hospital to be sure.
I don't know a lot about this method myself, but I wish you luck man. Stay safe though when you're doing this.

Maybe you held your breath a bit, allowing CO2 to build up?

I just tried it again breathing a higher flow rate this time, I almost passed out after like 30 seconds. I couldn't continue. I was like going to black out. I felt my whole face was going numb with dots

good for stopping before passing out, to avoid the risk of injury from a fall, or worse, being connected and CTBing too early.

So this is how it feels like to die from nitrogen ? It's not pleasant at all. My whole face went numb with dots. I thought this shit would be peaceful.

I tried it with a hose without the full face mask while laying down in bed up right. I want to try it until I pass out to see what it's like being on the other side but I'm afraid of going black.

I'm not trying to encourage anything, but wouldn't mask experience be different? Might go out sooner id think?

Yes but I tried it with putting my lips on the hose disconnected from the mask. It's been 30 minutes, my breathing is very difficult but getting better. Fuck, I thought this method would be more peaceful, it's instant and very deep with a pain feeling of numbness dots. I tried cutting my hands when I was 17 to die, that didn't work and got horrible scars. Tried hanging partial when I was 23, that worked and almost passed out for a split second and fell to the floor because my legs went numb, the rope was a bungee which stretched and allowed me to recover on the ground otherwise I would've 100% been dead. Survival kicked in and I started screaming. I just want a peaceful exit.
Well

Well what other method you suggest then? I just want a god damn peaceful EXIT OUT OF THIS SHIT. The next option is applying for assisted suicide in Switzerland.

I don't think anything is completely peaceful. Was the pain intense? Sounds more like it's harder to describe than that. Maybe it's your brain or SI freaking out some, wanting to live?

It was just like having internal gas pressure in my face, hard to describe. However what I can 1000% accurately described is the feeling of thousands of dots on my face and just the feeling of I'm right about to go BLACK. It's terrifying and not peaceful. It's not simple jusy like going to sleep peacefully, it's like you're suddenly going to be OUT. Scary. I don't know how much more peaceful I can make it besides actually putting the setup together, laying down in the cold with rain sounds after a meal. I need to go through with it. I'm trying it with this mask once it arrives, the full face scuba mask is claustrophobic.
I'm laying In bed falling asleep. If I don't reply for a few hours, I've likely fallen asleep. I wish I could just go like this, that nice feeling of falling asleep not with thousands of numb dots on my face.

Yeah I wish too. I'm trying to use fsh method which i know will be quite brutal to start, so can't get it done. This seems better but then you're obviously not handling it well so apparently not. I hate that this is so difficult

The fastest way to achieve blackout implies exhaling as much air as you can before inhaling the chosen inert gas. Two very deep breaths of nitrogen with 10 to 15-second interval followed by breath holding would likely suffice for fainting. 30 seconds to blackout or near-blackout state is a good time.

So this is how it feels like to die from nitrogen ? It's not pleasant at all. My whole face went numb with dots. I thought this shit would be peaceful.
What is so disturbing in feeling those dots? I perceived them too after breathing N₂O (which works similarly to N₂ with minor differences), and I'd rather describe the feeling as just "unusual" rather than "unpleasant". The numbness, tingling sensations, and loss of the sense of gravity seem somewhat weird when you're doing asphyxiation for the first time, but there is nothing painful in these perceptions. You may be anxious because you don't know what to expect (I had some fear when I did my first experiment), but this is a rather mental discomfort that goes away once you stop caring about what might happen.
