I'm in my car on my way to my spot to ctb. I have my generator and gas tank ready to go and I'm determined (at the moment.)

I've never even attempted before tho so I'm not naive enough to think that I can beat SI on the first go. As determined as I am, I know I don't really have a fight against biological instincts.

Nevertheless, I'm going to try. I'm kind of scared tho because I'm using a small portable generator and I don't want it to start a fire in my car because it does get hot. Any suggestions??

I really really hope I succeed but I know I will probably be back here in a few hours saying that I didn't. I wish there was a way to just completely block SI.

I've decided not to do it tonight. I got to a good spot and got everything ready but I'm so scared that it will start a fire. So now I'm just sitting here distraught. I need to find a way to fire proof my car. I thought maybe using a bunch of aluminum foil but I have no idea how to really do it because I'm not sure aluminum foil would work. I don't want to die in a fire or anything crazy drastic. I'm so sad I just wish there was an easy way

Where's the problem with the generator? Or did you intend lighting charcoals?

There's nothing wrong with it. It works perfectly. But I've always been worried about a fire due to how hot they get and I looked it up and got this. But so many people have done it so idk how they prevent fires
