I failed SN and I don't even know why?

30 MG meto
30 MG Ranitidine
8MG xanax
160MG propranolol

one hour later : 25g of SN in 50 ML of water.

tasted better Than I expected.

felt no sickness just a lot of burping which made me taste the liquid again (urgh)
roughly 40 minutes later my lips went blue. shortly after that my toe nails and finger nails went blue. (only the nails not the actual flesh)

tucked myself up in bed , cried a little. though I was pleased it was coming to the end.


well guess what>?? I WOKE UP AT 1PM THIS AFTERNOON.
WHAT DID I DO WRONG????????????

Did you vomit? Maybe the SN was expired or the purity of that SN brand was not high? Also imo if SN is not sealed in an airtight container it will degrade to nitrate. wow , i just got an idea to help me overcome si for me. i'll keep in mind stories like yours and trick my si (subconscious mind) by telling it " hey si subconscious mind i may or may not die as several have not and stil been ok after waking up so don't worry i'll probably live ".

Did your legs feel weak, like it felt like you couldn't move. Also when you showed the picture, the SN looked really clumpy and discolored. A good batch of SN should white or off-white. Are you able to urinate still?

That's insane. I don't know much about the SN procedure but from what I've read here you seemed to have followed it to the T. I guess there's always a possibility the product you purchased was cut with something. Which still doesn't make much sense because you did get some of the known side effects after ingestion. Thanks for sharing.

If I remember right your SN did look a little strange. Almost green and clumpy? Maybe the seller was dishonest about the purity and/or ingredients. I'm sorry you're feeling disappointed, do you feel any negative physical effects? Don't need to answer if you just need time to process things.

my legs were like jelly I struggled to move from downstairs to upstairs, like I was drunk , but hadn't drank anything . I fasted for way more than 12 hours though

How pure was it? >95%?

Maybe one of your medications doesn't mix with others?

EDIT: Did you leave it exposed to air before? Because Oxygen slowly turns SN into nitrate (another substance).

i recall a similar account of surviving in a previous thread, it turned out they had used teaspoons not tablespoons, scales are a must.

I saw the pic of the SN you posted in another thread.

It looked very yellow and clumpy. I don't know if that's normal, but all pics I've seen of SN, it looks much finer, granular and only with a very slight yellow tint.

Again, I'm no chemist, so I don't know.

You could do an Nitrite test bought off Ama--on.com, or try to source SN from another supplier.

I'm sorry you're going through this. What's weird is that you woke up and everything just seems alright, even though you had the symptoms like blue fingers nails.

That SN looks very clumpy. The SN I own is way way less clumpy.

That's not gonna be the issue here as it looks like a recent purchase.

Normally, 2 grams of SN is a lethal dosage already. Looking at the symptoms @loopylou is describing, this must have contained some nitrite, but a very very low amount. Even if the purity is somewhat lower than the highly recommended 95%, you can't drink 25 grams of it and just wake up the next day. The amount of nitrite must have been very low, so low that your body managed to process it.

Also, based on many reports, people get unconscious after about 20 minutes. The fact that you were still awake after 40 minutes, fully aware of what was happening and without any vomiting, is enough to know something is wrong with this product. I think you might have fell asleep from the high dosage of Xanax instead of the Nitrite.

Maybe you could try the blood test? Get a few drops of blood on one of these clumps and check if the blood turns dark brown.

Maybe it went bad during the shipping process? As it took so long, maybe it was kept under the wrong conditions. I think you definitely experienced signs of methemoglobinemia, judging the blue lips/nails. But probably at a too low dosage/concentration to die from.
