Today I bought a ratchet tie to have on hand for when the time is right. I wasn't really familiar with ratchet ties but I found out they have really long belts that come nowhere near small enough to compress the circumference of the neck. They had so many and not one would go small enough. I figured out that what ill have to do is remove the short belt that is only like 6 or 7 inches that's fixed to the ratchet and then cut the 15 ft belt that came with it to like 2 or three feet and use a needle and thread to sew it onto where I will remove the attached belt from the ratchet. Then I can just thread the other end of the belt through and it will work out. I doubt that makes too much sense but it's hard to explain. It seems like there would have been one that was just one belt attached to the ratchet that would just feed into the bracket but there wasnt. They also all were designed to attached together by big metal hooks which just wouldn't work. I went to Big5 after to buy corn hole bean bags but they were literally 50 bucks for a set so I bought 2 hac sacks that I think will work ok. I put them over my carotids and applied pressure and it definitely was doing the job. The hacky sacks cost 15 bucks together and were more expensive than the ratchet tie which was like 5 dollars.

I think this will not fail like the cloth mask and wooden did. I have an appointment next week with my lousy GP about two referrals to specialists so I'm trying to at least rife it out until then but I am very doubtful I will get any help. First she will have to actually give me the referrals which is doubtful and even if she does it has to go through an approval process that takes about a month and then if it actually is approved by my criminally negligent state insurance the referral needs to be processed and accepted by the specialists. In the mean time my brain is dying, my vision is going, I can't use my limbs right, my balance is getting worse and stiffer, I walk like a drunk old man who s legs don't bend right, my muscle are twitching allover my body, I get Charlie horse cramps all over and I just can't deal with it anymore.

It does sound so awful what you are going through, to me life itself is nothing more than a cruel mistake, how could life be anything else when such extreme suffering exists. It must be a relief having a method plan, for me personally I would fear something going wrong if I tried to ctb that way but I guess that if it works then it's always another option to ctb with.
I wish you the best.

I would so much prefer N. From my time spent looking into it though I conclude it would take a miracle to get some. The other method I've thought a lot about is burning charcoal in tent. It sounds like a pretty reliable method but it seems like you would be choking horribly on the way out. Even bbq outside makes my throat close up.

I came so close with a cloth mask and a spoon. I was out cold. Despite tucking the spoon over my shoulder and laying on it must have loosened. The other problem was I was missing my carotids at first and just getting the jugulars which was really uncomfortable. The two times I got the carotids right it really wasn't bad at all and I went out in less than a minute for sure. I think the hacky sacks will make it easier to not miss the carotids and the ratchet will obviously keep it from slipping.

Thanks for being supportive too. 🙂

I have my ratchet strap and experimting to get it right. Doesn't seem like a design that works though...... I have to feed the strap through the opposite way to get it tighten enough and when I do that it doesn't like coming out so I guess it's one and done.... ?
