I think it depends on your relationship to these people. Try not to make it too obvious that you're saying goodbye, or they might call an ambulance. A scheduled email might work.
Personally, I don't really have anyone I really want to say goodbye to. I might send an email to my sister and/or friends, but it wouldn't be that dramatic. I'd put all my reasoning for my suicide in a note attached to my corpse.

idk. depends on how i go out. if i live long and die in hospice or something, id like to sing binks sake with them. if i ctb then i probably won't bother leaving a note or a goodbye or anythingI think it would be too obvious if I did- seeing as I've largely lost contact with people. I'll have to rely on a note to try and say what I want to.
