thanks for sharing your opinion, have a good day.Idk what your definition of "edgy" is, but pointing out to people who are enthusiastic about the prospects of cancer that they are in fact very ignorant to the reality of death by cancer is not it, nor is it "trolling" to accurately observe the weapons-grade idiocy of such a take.
thats mostly due to the chemotherapy. It destroys you.they get so weak, lose all their hair, it's awful. most die with like 35kg body weight.
No it isn't. Stop talking shit about something you have literally zero understanding of.thats mostly due to the chemotherapy. It destroys you.

I think every feeling would apply here. If terminal, it may be very hard to enjoy any life, very limited time and progressing illness. I've see this happen a few times to others and it seems to go fast from functional to dead.. like days/weeks.would you be sad? afraid to die? be in denial?
would you try you best to enjoy your last few months?
would it relieve some of the guilt of ctb ?
would you feel the choice to die was made for you for those who are unsure?
yeah no worries, i just ignore them and wish them a good day .It's hard to believe that some people are so desperate for attention that they go around bullying suicidal people. I'm sorry that your thread has been hijacked OP, your point of view is understandable and shouldn't be insulted like that. Dying from an illness is more preferable to getting brain damage from a suicide attempt. Being trapped in this world with no way out really is the worst thing so maybe people should try to understand that. One time I read this horrific story about someone failing hanging and the selfish family members kept them alive even know they had no quality of life. There are worse situations than dying from an terminal illness.
SS USER #1: man I wish l had cancer, I'd be so lucky to have those pain meds, would be so convenient to simply die without SI getting in the way, anyone who thinks cancer is actually bad is either very thick or a normie who doesn't understand being suicidal, get me some of that good stage 4 shit asapIt's hard to believe that some people are so desperate for attention that they go around bullying suicidal people.

clearly not trying to understand and just bullying and enforcing their own opinion which is a breaking of rules as well as name calling. from his first reply.

SS USER #2: this is very ignorant to the reality of cancer, which is actually one of the worst ways to die
FUNERAL CRY: one of the above is bullying and also trolling, no I'm not going to say which

Would you rather die of cancer or live with say...Parkinson'sSS USER #2: this is very ignorant to the reality of cancer, which is actually one of the worst ways to die
Would you rather die of a face-hugging extra terrestrial planting a seed inside you which grows and later burrows out of your chest light years from earth or live with an orange for a headWould you rather die of cancer or live with say...Parkinson's
The second one. If my head was an orange I'd have no awareness. So no opinion on terminal cancer vs Parkinson's?Would you rather die of a face-hugging extra terrestrial planting a seed inside you which grows and later burrows out of your chest light years from earth or live with an orange for a head
If we simplify the choice down to terminal cancer vs Parkinson's, I'd personally probably take Parkinson's. But I can understand how others might choose otherwise, and wouldn't wish either on anyone.Would you rather die of cancer or live with say...Parkinson's
After my original post, I too now agree, I think a lot of people are romanticising what would be a torturous and interminable way to die.All you saying you'd be happy with cancer don't have a clue what you are saying . It's one of the worst ways to die
Thanks for the belly laughWould you rather die of a face-hugging extra terrestrial planting a seed inside you which grows and later burrows out of your chest light years from earth or live with an orange for a head
I do have terminal cancer and that is how I feelI would definitely feel a sense of relief and consider it good fortune. If I had to go through with ctb at some point due to diminishing effectiveness of pain killers I think it would be easier knowing I had a terminal illness and was in soon-to-be unmanageable pain.
Just keep them gems cominI would definitely feel a sense of relief and consider it good fortune. If I had to go through with ctb at some point due to diminishing effectiveness of pain killers I think it would be easier knowing I had a terminal illness and was in soon-to-be unmanageable pain.
And What happend if you dont take the treatment? My mom went through that with lung cancer. I can promise you all, there is no way in hell I would go for chemo. No Sir, not this boy, uh-huh not a chance! Chemo makes you sick as hell on top of the cancer, hair falls out.....no thank you!
Hope you get your wish.Tbh i would like it. SI has no chance, and in the last weeks i would go in a hospice with morphine and fentanyl patches. Also people like nurses and docs take care of you, you're not dying totally alone.
It would relieve probably all of my guilt and would honestly make me happy/at peace.would you be sad? afraid to die? be in denial?

coming back to the thread i made a few months later i can say you were right, i wasnt thinking straight and indeed a terminal illness is a horrible way to go. I was just wishing for death but didnt consider the logistics and suffering.Hope you get your wish.
true/I wonder how people who have been diagnosed with terminal cancer feel when reading some of the posts on here? People who didn't want to end their lives? Do they feel "lucky" to be facing unwanted suffering and untimely death?
Do these people and their loved ones not deserve consideration and respect? It's not an academic question to them. It's grim reality.
i can understand both sides. There is actually nothing wrong with this thread and there's nothing disrespectful about it, it's people's feelings and they are entitled to have them and wishing to die from terminal cancer is perfectly valid and understandable. Having the knowledge that all this will soon be coming to an end is a beautiful thing, even if some kind of suffering is involved in the dying process, those people will soon be free. It's not just about people with cancer, so many on this forum are suffering and struggle to find a way to leave themselves. Their views towards this should be respected.
