  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

i just read that it could give you brain damage now i'm like "oughhhhhh...". so is the best thing to do only attempt once and properly? i haven't practiced partial yet but i'll probably try to do it later in the month when my things are sorted. i still need to look at the trees in my area. i don't have a forest in me so i'd have to go walking further or take an uber to a more forested area.

Yep. You don't want to fail.

But if you do fail, you want it to be as early as possible, and hopefully involving the ligature coming loose (not like you could really control that though)

I mean, yeah - the brain damage comes from depriving your brain of oxygen, which is also the direct mechanism by which the method results in death. So you can't have one without the other.

You'd be surprised. (;´・ω・)
i was worried about if i failed the first time. there's a lot of stories of backing out because of SI so i made the mistake of thinking it was less severe (~_~;)
The SI part comes from before loss of consciousness, that's why some people restrain their arms and legs so they don't free themselves.

You'll need to have plenty of time alone, and make sure no one interrupts or rescues you. Also have a good rope and anchor point, so that neither of them breaks.
