So im 99% set on drowning myself in the ocean via jumping of a certain pier.

I googled the place and some other man had also ctb there , he was drinking , got drunk and jumped off.

The article were posted on facebook and while some comments were supportive and saying what a nice man he was.

Some disgusting people were commenting things like " oh no that place will be haunted now haha!" " im not gonna take my kids to that beach any longer! " " At least his ghost can pick up bikini wearing women now"

seriously ? and people ask me why im a hermit.

Ive seen the ugly dark side of human nature, and their cruelty and selfishness can turn even the best of people against humanity.

A desperate depressed traumatized man died and they made jokes like " oh he ruined the beach for us!"

fuck humans.

Yes my friend im sure i have to go. I have no money and not good with my hands so cant tie a knot or do practical stuff.

Jumping is definitely preferable if you can get somewhere 10 storeys or higher

Drowning seems very painful to me. Are you sure about this method?
I'm not really shocked reading what people said because it's not new to me. People are really very selfish and say shit all the time. I forced myself not to be bothered (or less bothered ) when I hear these kind of things said about me or someone else. You can't really grab their mouth and stop them from talking, or stop them from typing.
Good thing kindness doesn't cost anything, who knows what humans would do otherwise.....

Usually "high on life" types of people who are actually really ignorant how cold this world really is. These people usually end up CTB in their 50s if they experience any sort of "shock" to their privileged bubble.

Dying that way is difficult if you are sobber. Your instincts will kick in and keep your head above the waterline, if you know how to swim. There'll be nothing your mind can do about it.

You could wait for a hefty storm or tie weights to your legs. But that won't make it anymore pleasant either.

Most people lost at sea die of hypothermia and not by drowning.

And those FB commentators were just trying to compensate their own inner fears with these calleous remarks.

There is another threat about that on SS. Problem with this one is: Too low and you only break a lot of bone. Too high and your instincts will have plenty of time to convince your conscious mind what an idiotic way to go that is.

Me personally I'd prefer a 45 to the brainstem. For right now a high caliber projectile into the skull seems to me like the most painless way legally obtainable in the US. But I don't live in the States no more. :(

Caveat Emptor: Even shooting yourself must be done right or it'll only end up adding to your living misery! Survivors of such failed exercises could tell you a horrible tale about it!

It certainly is horrific the way that many people in this world treat others. Of course many people are incredibly self centred after all and it seems as though everywhere suicidal people are treated badly with a lack of respect given towards them. The way that people behave definitely makes the thought of non existence sound even more appealing, to me there is nothing more comforting than the thought of being free from this nightmarish world where all of this endless suffering continues to exist.
