People don't give a shit about morals or being good or helping others they only do it so long as it looks pretty and upkeeps their image not just infront of others but themselves. No one sticks around when things get messy,dirty,ugly. When you have to look bad to do good. I can use examples from my own life literally most of my classmates and family members and people i know aside from my few extraordinary friends but I wanted to use something simple that everyone may have seen atleast once or twice.


It actually angers me so greatly how so many people are so disgusting. Sometimes I scroll through instagram and see some horribly disfigured person of sorts venting about their struggle with their appearance and the comments are full of disgusting faux sweet remarks like "you're so beautiful omg" "you're pretty" I think these kind of lies are evil because this is NOT done out of kindness but pity it's patronising and done to make themselves feel better and like a good person not to help the person. Because in this situation saying the right thing the actually helpful thing and acknowledging the truth is uncomfortable and doesnt make them look good. Think about it if a person had their leg stuck on a train track infront of an incoming train unaware that it's coming and slowly freeing their legs casually would you tell them "oh you're fine there's no train" so they feel good and don't get worried or feel anxious like a filthy coward to feel good about yourself or actually inform them of the struggles the pain that they may face and tell them how to deal with it? Actually help them do better? Yeah exactly people care more about LOOKING nice than being kind. Being kind and genuinely helping others doesn't always look good or virtuous sometimes you need to be an asshole to help people but people are too cowardly most people don't have any morals. Morals for people are a costume,a fancy dress to look good in society not a code to live by,not something they truly believe (although they will convince themselves they do to feel good) and as soon as the dress is stained and sullied they throw it off. How hypocritical, how utterly disgraceful every last one of them. The date of my ctb may vary according to my life but what will not change is the certainty that it will happen. because regardless of all sorrows and joys in life the truth remains that this world and most people in it are truly sub standard and incapable of being greater. I yearn to unite with souls that aspire for greater causes that believe in things fight for their beliefs a place where people will give everything for what they believe is right

And yes I know im not the greatest person in the world but the thing is I don't pretend like I am some beacon of virtue.I only try and hope to be as great as my ideals

Read about "the mask" concept of Kafka, there's a quote about it that summarizes it pretty well:

'I was ashamed of myself when I realised life was a costume party and I attended with my real face'

And social media are the perfect portrayal of these hiprocricy. The whole world is an hiprocricy: politics, economics, schools, religion etc

Thats why I think that either you are dumb and "blind" to the facts or you just accept it and learn to be selfish and get what you want for yourself without thinking about other (unless your loved ones), but, there's people in the middle that are not dumb and just can't blindfold themselves...
