How do you get over the fear of nothingness?

You won't be aware of it, so being "scared" is impossible because you won't be conscious, you won't have to experience seeing billions of years pass by while looking into nothing. Before you were born, so much has happened that you can't even comprehend or imagine how much. It's peaceful, like falling asleep and never wake up. "Nothingness" is being understood differently by everyone, it's like a subjective thing, each person sees it in their own way. But one fact is a fact, you'll be unaware of it. Being scared right now while we live makes absolutely zero sense. It's so unnecessary and makes your life even more anxious.
