Not really. I suppose there might be various hormonal options but some could have the opposite effect and raise your sex drive. I think most people don't really consider this to be a problem so there's not much need for a product. Also, most people can get some sort of stimulation whether it be from themselves or a partner to help decrease the sex drive. I would say the only time it's a major problem typically is if your sex drive leads to impulsive behaviors that are dangerous or illegal (like pedophila, zoophilia, etc). If that is the case OP I would highly recommend starting with a therapist that specializes in sex/dangerous obsessions related to sex and have a very honest conversation about this.

Depends whether you're male or female. I know someone who used to bathe his penis in natural yogurt every morning and this reduced his sex drive massively.

I guess masturbation is not enough for you?
Well, I haven't been thinking of sex so much lately. I guess finding hobbies helps. You just gotta have your mind "somewhere else. "

The most reasonable and safe option would be to distract yourself with hobbies and activities. Minimize the amount of time you are idle.

I don't think removing your sex drive will necessarily make you happy because even people who have reduced sex drives end up just feeling sad that it's gone for some reason. Maybe the human body will realize something is missing and still want it back. Idk.

Some antidepressants apparently can reduce sex drive so you might get to kill two birds with one stone if it makes you doubly happier. There's also the nuclear option where you remove your sex organs entirely such as your testicles or ovaries.

it is true, hobbies/activities, i played a lot of xbox to distract myself.
i felt like this last year.
i don't know your reason why you want help with this, but if like me, is it that you miss someone being there to pleasure you/them, i dont know, im good at assumptions. may as well change my username to "Always Assuming"
...i mean, i missed my partners touch, even just a cuddle. it depressed me so much not having someone there to hold in all of those ways.

i hope you find something to help.

Many psych meds will have that effect. Antidepressants in particular are known to at least lower people's sex drive. Not in all cases, but quite often. Other than that, antiandrogens are sometimes used for exactly that purpose in people who are male/amab (not sure if you are), although they tend to have side-effects which you might find unpleasant. Anyway, as someone who has gone through bouts of unbearably high sex drive, I get it. It fucking sucks. And no, masturbation was not enough back then. My sex drive is lower these days and I see it as a fucking blessing to be honest. Not really sure how it happened though. It just...became lower over time.

Just take an SSRI. If you're anything like me, given enough time it should castrate you permanently. The one that did me in was called Fluvoxamine. Just know that *PSSD is an irreversible condition and you very well might regret this decision in the future.

Aromasin, arimidex, or letro. Tank your estrogen levels. Lose your sex drive and won't even be able to get a hard on.

Long ago on another forum I've read an account by some guy who had this problem and decided to do a DIY physical castration (it's as stupid as it sounds and he admitted it). His sex drive was 100% gone but he also spiralled into chronic depression because testosterone is a powerful antidepressant and by castrating yourself you will make none.

I think a normal sex drive is closely related to mental well being overall and it's not easy to separate the two.

I don't think you should remove your sex drive, but I understand the intent to remove desires.

There's a lot of things I want and when I could no longer get them, it brought me a lot of pain.

These desires sort of creep up on us. I imagine a bodybuilder who suddenly lost the use of his legs would have a harder time adapting to life than a programmer who lost the use of his legs. Still challenging in both cases, of course.

Do you really want to remove your sex drive?

I feel like we just want to remove the psychological pain of not being able to get what we want. I get that. I really do.

Maybe it helps to have a few desires. Or even better, no desires at all.

Don't know how one would reach such a state. Or even if one would want to.

I don't know.

I'm sorry you feel this way. Fairness has never been an explicit part of the Universe huh..

Out of curiousity, not trying to start anything, I honestly just am curious...but what exactly do you mean by inceldom? I obviously know what an incel is but I have never seen someone refer to themselves as one. I kind of assumed it was more of an insult? I have seen a lot in the media about it and kind of gathered they don't have sex and it's not by choice and they (well lots of them but probably not all) seem to really hate women and can be cruel or invoke violence towards them. But, I may be wrong so feel free to explain if I am, I always ask questions and want to learn about others perceptions of self. Also, what exactly would the hormones do (assuming you are a biological male at birth) to help your "inceldom?" You don't have to answer if you are uncomfortable or just don't want to.h

Are you sure it is the sex drive or is it the inability to get a partner with which you can enjoy sex? Maybe try getting someone instead of such drastic measures.

I really wish I had this problem (I was castrated at just age 13, before I could ever have sex, that's the reason I want to CTB) hope you find a way to decrease it naturally in a healthy way.
ps. Please don't take SSRIs they will not only take away sex drive but also emotions, cognition, creativity, energy... it's hell

There's no guaranteed way to get rid of your sex drive.

There is a shocking number of gay men out there who get nullification surgery willingly and still have active sex drives.

Even if castrating yourself worked, you'd then face a whole host of different hormonal problems that'd effect you negatively, as other people have commented. You'd bald, lose muscle, gain weight (see: fat), grow fatigued, lose bone density, potentially develop anemia...... The list can go on.

It'd probably be better to figure out *why* your sex drive is making you depressed and fix that instead of trying to remove a trait almost all humans and non-human animals have.

You don't have to answer this if it is too personal for you, but shouldn't a hormone therapy help with that? Like testosterone pills or something, apparently this makes sex possible for castrated men. Have you tried something like this?
