Hotel vs. Apartment CTB

I'm gonna ctb with F. I was going to do it in a hotel, which would give me 12 hrs before anyone finds me, but am worried about that being enough even though it should be enough. If I do it in my apartment, in which I live alone, it could be days even a week before I'm found. I'll have at least 1g F all to myself, and if it doesn't work for some reason, I would like to just wake up in my apartment instead of rushed to a hospital. But I don't want to have my landlord deal with this, to ruin the value of his apartment, and to creep all my neighbors out. So maybe I should just do it in a hotel. What do you think?

I think if you can afford it that a few days in a hotel with the do not disturb sign on the door would be a good idea. Then if you wake up you'll have some recovery time.

I don't see how it would hurt the value of the apartment, but I get not wanting to impact the landlord or neighbors. If you're worrying about not being found, could you send a delayed email to someone with the landlord's contact info?

EDIT: I get staying in the hotel for only 12 hours to minimize cleanup, but you could ctb in the tub or shower and use the bedding, then the mattress would be undamaged.

I would always choose home (apt) simply from a comfort perspective.

Once I have my room booked CTB plan goes into overdrive-- I really will be on my way out. Already have the place. Just need to make that booking....

I vote for hotel because I do NOT live alone (currently living under my parents' roof) and certainly I would need enough time alone to do the deed when the time comes. Also in the hotel, I have more privacy and dying there is less damaging for parents' or apartment (landlords). Hell even if I had an apartment, there is no guarantee that I would be living alone.

Yes thank you, that's what I'm going to do now, get 2 days at the hotel. Which should give me 36 hours to figure it out.

I will be sending delayed email to parents.

I thought about doing it in the tub, but I want to be comfortable, and I can afford cleanup.

I hope I dont opt out tho...... I can't imagine staying in this life. But I am so glad I have all of you. I will keep everything posted as the time draws near....... I am going to be booking a 4 star hotel. I want to die in comfort.

I'm ending my life here in this apartment. When I was living at my father's, my plan was to lie and say I was going to spend the weekend at a friends, while in actuality I was going to book a hotel/motel room some place cheap and end things there.

I'm grateful to have a place to end things, won't be disturbed or possibly found for many days, even a week and I'll be in my own bed.
