hello everyone !! so I've started to look into things again and i stumbled upon the helium method very very easily when looking up painless ways to die and i was wondering if there's anything i should know before trying? mainly because of how easy it was to find im doubtful but i saw it here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9412544/

i also found a tank and such i could buy that is around 99.99% ill look for more sources just in case that website isn't verifiable or a scam since ive stumbled upon websites like that when i first started buying things online,,

but if anyone has any information that i should know or that can help this be undoubtedly successful i would really appreciate it !! thank you for reading,,

Party Balloon Helium was used a fair bit in the past to ctb, when it was near-100% purity. Like this guy explains in this video:
Helium and exit bag video.

Helium has been mentioned lately on the inert gas megathread, on this page:

There is no regulator on the video, it seems it works only with some special tanks, usually the regulator is necessary

For many years people used the party balloon helium cannisters without a regulator. It's only in the last few years that the likes of Exit International started advising to use a regulator. This is because you can work out how long the gas will flow for, thus ensuring that you have enough to ctb. They also they found that 15 litres per minute gasflow was optimal for nitrogen ctb with an exit bag.

It's up to people themselves if they want to use a regulator or not. Most people on the inert gas megathread have advised to do so. It also gives greater peace of mind, given that you have a fair idea how long the gas will flow for.

Yes, regulators don't fit those helium balloon cannisters. They only fit industrial-type cylinders, that look like this:

Helium cannisters for balloons are easy to find, but where to find the industrial-type?

yes, if we have industrial-type cylinder, then the regulator can be installed, but if it is a cylinder for balloons, then the crane only opens completely and the pressure will be too high, in which case the exit bag should fly off the head, or i am not right?

It might be easier to find Nitrogen and argon cylinders than helium ones. It depends on where you live.

I presume those helium balloon cannisters of the past were relatively low pressure. So the gas probably didn't shoot out. Not sure about modern-day party balloon cannisters.
