I have gone full schizophrenic

I want to do it in a form of a bigger thread since I want other people to share their stories too.

Aside from autism I got a really bad case of eczema all over my body. All of these spots are constantly itchy and cause me a lot of problems. I often get giant skin lesions that cause bleeding and excruciating pain. When I'm at home I literally just wear latex glove on one of my hands to lock in the moisture and prevent it from drying because of how painful it is. Also it just looks disgusting as fuck, like someone poured an acid on me. None of the treatments worked so far, it always comes back stronger and more annoying than before. I can't count how many times I scratched it until I saw blood and then had to wear a bandaid for some time. The worst part is that I can't even blame myself for this, it's a genetic disorder that popped up randomly about 3 years ago and bothers me until this day. I hate it so fucking much and I'm ashamed of how my body looks because of it, and it's only gonna get worse.

I have Autism too. I was also diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2024 and that's been hard to deal with mentally and physically. I'm in pain all the time now🙁

What are the symptoms? I've never heard of it.
(you don't have to answer if you're not comfortable with it btw.)

no worries i love answering :) its an endocrine and metabolic disorder that makes your androgens too high, and the high androgens cause things like really oily skin and lots of acne, excess hair growth and insulin resistance (and the insulin resistance causes other problems like weight gain that feels uncontrollable).

unfortunately there hasn't been a lot of research on it until really recently and it's only now that they're starting to find correlation with other health issues like very bad sleep problems and constant fatigue.

my problem is that it's usually also related with obesity so doctors will tell you to lose weight and then figure things out, but i used to be pretty skinny when i got diagnosed so they didn't have much to tell me other than taking birth control.

there are cases where you also get pretty big ovarian cysts (which is why it was called Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome before) and those can be really painful, they can "inflate" inside and make you look very bloated, or sometimes they rupture and it hurts a lot. back when i got diagnosed when i was 14 i had 21 cysts T–T

the perk is that back when i was pretty active at the gym i had bigger biceps than half of my male friends lol

I'm a medical mystery 🙃 keep hoping for answers but nothing for 6 years so far…

I'm bipolar 2 with severe anxiety/panic disorder. But what's really been making shit harder is the new stuff. Severe gastrointestinal distress, random intense pains in random places anywhere in my body that last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes, a LOT of unexplained weight gain, heart palpitations randomly, hot flashes, and debilitating back pain. I can't stand for more than 10 minutes now, which has decreased my quality of life a lot. I used to hike for half a day just for fun. The gastrointestinal stuff is the worst though. Waking up 3-5 times at night in level 7-8 pain, and having 5-10 bowel mvmts a day is really inhibiting on activity… combine with the back pain is just 🫠

That sounds fucking horrible, I'm sorry you have to go through this. I wish there was some cure for this but I doubt we'll ever see it in our lifetime.

6 years and no answers at all? Like not a single person figured out what's wrong?

depression, anxiety, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, consequences of anorexia and bulimia (gastroparesis, GERD, anemia, low blood pressure, circulation problems), scoliosis and atopic dermatitis.
a lot of stuff to take care of and i can't afford to manage everything all at once. recently i gave up on antidepressants after taking different kinds for 5 years. they only made things worse with those insane side effects.

mostly just crohn's disease
some other things but manageable

it's the constant bleeding and the resulting anemia that drives me insane
severe eating disorder for the past 6 years now

no medication works aside from prednisone- of which brings its fantastic side effects

Tinnitus, while some people can manage to live with it, there are some who can't, especially those who are introverted people who use silence to recharge their mind, emotional and mental energy.

I've got hEDS. Constant pain. The urgent care doctors love me because they get to hear about how I dislocated my shoulder reaching up to grab a bowl from the cabinet.

Then the bipolar and borderline combo. I like to call it diagnosed fucked up. Endless cycles.

Bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, OCD, cervical disc bulge about 6 years ago causing intermittent pain in my right arm, FCU tendonitis on my left wrist, Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) for the last 2.5 years...

That's about 7 separate issues each one of which alone is capable of pushing someone to CTB. Life has become absolutely unbearable. I tell you I'll be glad to get outta here whenever that happens..

True. At this point it literally became a porn category. People sexualized it so much that I doubt anyone even realizes how fucking horrible this condition is.

I had that when I was younger, and struggled with it again last year. It was all over my wrists, and I'd get random surges of pain and a weird stinging sensation. I would have to hold my wrists under freezing cold water for long periods of time just for the slightest bit of relief. You definitely have to suffer unimaginably because of your condition, and I feel so sorry for you. I pray that you get better. ❤️

A bunch of things but the main one that destroyed me more than anything else (aside from bad parents) is the anxiety disorder combined with general cowardice and constant need for validation and acceptance. It sounds relatively innocuous but it isn't.

don't know if most people would consider it a health condition, but for me its gender dysphoria. has genuinely ruined any chance i ever had at living a life. I haven't been able to shower for almost 2 years and already struggled with it massively before that i hate going outside simply just because of how i might be perceived making friends is even harder than it already was because I'm distrustful of if people actually see me how i want to be seen or not. i hate talking, i try my best to never open my mouth. i think about diy surgery all the time and there was even moments where people had to stop me from trying to do so. i can barely even look at myself, i usually just stay online all day and forget i exist in real life. there's not really any hope in transitioning either, it might help make me a bit more functional and comfortable in this body but I'll still be a dysphoric. people tend to underestimate how bad it can actually get if not treated they think its just about "oh people get sad when they're called the wrong pronouns" no it goes so fucking far beyond that. if i got into how much its ruined my life id be here for ages

Insomnia. It leads to so many other problems and is just so damn frustrating. My biggest issue is that it is not logical. I am very tired but my body will not sleep. I have accepted a lot in my life but I would be glad to live without insomnia. I also have shit vision but I have adapted pretty well so that does not bother me.

I do the same, except I put my hand under scalding hot water when I just can't take it anymore.
