Literally never had the feeling until I started taking an antidepressant (2019) that I got off a year later. Seems not to have reversed for certain people, who are more powers that be than anything (unattainable figures).
I have heard before that at least Prozac causes this. There also have been plenty of reports of people who took this ad and killed people.

It seems like a high percentage of people who consider suicide also consider homicide at some point, though only a tiny percentage of people who are suicidal actually commit homicide- based on statistics it seems clear than way less than one percent of people who become suicidal ever commit homicide. One common way this thinking seems to happen is that a person loses hope in the world and stays there for a long time, feeling hopeless, and they start hating everyone for not helping them, and then in some rare cases they actually act on this and do harm to another person or persons.

I seriously considered having my pedophile father killed about 20 years ago, but it was too expensive. I'm Italian, I know people who know people. It all worked out for the best though, he got cancer.
P.S. People would be very surprised if they knew how many mafiosos are gay.
Isn't the Italian slur for gay men "finocio"? I think that was in The Godfather novel.

Most of the time i'm harming myself, but once and this was before I was suicidal :
I was working as a waiter in a stylish restaurant and most of the clients were bourgeois way richer than a poor waiter like me. Anyway It wasnt a problem at all, but I don't know why once I served those 3 young rich people that were like almost same age as me, and I felt very much inferior at that moment... When i replaced the forks and knifes, I remember when putting the knife on the table i had this pulsion to use the knife but I managed to control myself and not do it.
It's like I was not totally in control of myself for a small moment, my hand started to move in the direction of the client with the knife.
That was really weird, but i'm glad that I managed to get back in control of myself and resist the pulsion.

At that moment of my life I was quite taking lots of extazy and weed, working a lot and sometimes barely sleeping. So I guess that was due to a mix of "residue" of drugs interfence lol and poor sleep and the feeling of being inferior.

Now I don't have those kinds of thoughts, except for the guy that robbed my with a knife some years ago. I sometimes imagine taking my revenge with an imaginary knife, and I vent out all my anger and I end up crying.
This guy destroyed a lot of my dignity, I hate him.

Yes of course I have had the thoughts of killing people who have done me wrong. I wouldn't want to act on those thoughts though. That's what violent video games and movies are for. They help release anger and tension.

Такое бывает при психических расстройствах и депрессии, это не значит, что вы пойдете убивать. То, что вы понимаете, что это ненормально, уже хорошо. Те, кто расстреливал людей в кафе и школах, вряд ли думали, что это плохо.

I think everyone gets those intrusive thoughts. I think it's the brain's way of coping with the abuse you receive from particular people in your life.

I usually get them about certain people when I'm working out at the gym- especially if I'm doing something high intensity like boxing - suddenly you punch with a lot more force and precision when you can imaging someone you hate in front of you. Very therapeutic.

Will I ever act on them? No. Especially given deep depression makes it exceptionally difficult to just get out of bed, let alone go about dabbling in homicide. And if I did summon up enough energy then I'll use it to CTB- not going to waste that precious energy on people who are trash
