Truthfully I've found your posts very pleasant in a way that isn't the least bit sanctimonious/self-righteous (or annoying) which I appreciated. I'm sorry you've reached this point... It always sucks to see kind and thoughtful people not "make it" through their natural life. Wish there was more to know about you personally as you seem like an interesting person who could convey her story well, which isn't easy to do.

What did you read/watch? Whose thought influenced you? Camus and the existentialists? Schopenhauer's famous essay on suicide? Something else? What insights or a-ha moments did you have?

I think hearing about your own exploration of suicide (philosophically, particularly) could help me, as I have a voracious interest in this topic intellectually (as well as personally, obviously).

I've just come home from work for the first time since we met without a message in my inbox from OP.
I am beyond devastated / beyond delighted.
Lots of tears today.
Philosophy is not my specialty, but if you like, I can send you parts of their messages - quotes & theories etc.
I think it would honour OP to pass on their beliefs & dishonour them to disagree or question them publicly. So if you'd like me to send, I'll send privately & if you disagree, which obviously you are welcome to do, please don't let me know - that can be for you to discuss with others.

And to OP, I hope your bus was swift & peaceful & that you would be happy or proud for me to share your beliefs. And that you aren't too mad at me for using real English here instead of "US" English - I just CAN'T & you know it - wherever you are, you know it. But if I pass any of your messages on, they will remain intact with your spelling. No red marker. My best compromise, just for you.
And I miss you. A lot. My life is already less without you. And I cried again just thinking about the red marker…

They were so, so overwhelmed by the support.
It was a beautiful GBT.
I was very much ready & waiting for any pro-life messages or anything negative, so I could tackle that myself & so OP's blood pressure didn't go through the roof.
But it was positive & beautiful & supporting & fitting & everything they deserved & nothing that they feared.
And they were genuinely over the moon about how many people commented on their writing skills - something they worked hard on & was proud of - to have people acknowledge it was so important to them. I don't know if the people that commented know that, but I think they should.
Sorry for speaking for OP if that is considered disrespectful.
I won't do it again - no more hijacking.
And OP was speaking with other SaSu friends here as well - if anyone else wants to add anything or correct me, please do.
I could never let OP have the last word in life but should have the respect to do so now.
