Hello.
Which method do you think is better?

I think that with a partial suspension, I might not lose consciousness and stop halfway out of fear and a survival instinct

It would seem that full suspension should be better in this regard, since all you have to do is take a single step and that's it... But then I start to worry that I'll do something wrong and won't lose consciousness... If that happens, for example, what should I do? Carry a knife to cut the rope?

Hi, as I tried partial hanging several times I assume full hanging is far more easy to do.

Got it. Thanks
Does anyone know where I can find a guide on full suspension?
I'm mostly worried about doing something wrong and getting stuck hanging there while I'm still conscious. I think I'll keep a knife in my pocket just in case. Even if everything goes well, I still think I'll lose consciousness before I can use the knife out of self-preservation instinct.

I personally used this thread and whatever links JesiBel provides for all my info regarding hanging. I hope it's helpful.

From what I understand partial is much more comfortable and painless to execute, but you have to place the noose in a very precise position around the Carotid arteries in your neck or it won't work. The other issue is how it's much easier to bail out from than in FSH. In general it's just much harder to execute, but it makes death itself a bit easier. Full suspension suffers from being much more painful which could lead to it being harder to overcome that mental barrier. If you aren't really in a rush then I think partial works, but if you're okay with dealing with the pain and just want to get it done I think full suspension is the better option.

Don't worry over screwing it up either, if you're careful enough and double check everything you should be fine. Most hangings that fail are from very easily preventable mistakes, or so it seems, don't take my word as fact.

Thanks.
I often read that people can't lose consciousness during a partial suspension. I'm afraid I won't be able to psych myself up enough, and I'll start to panic when I feel myself losing consciousness.

P.S.
I've seen some videos where people make mistakes during FSH. What happens to them? Do they just hang there while still conscious, or do they end up suffocating?

With FSH, as long as nothing breaks or you are rescued, you will die.
Speed is the goal, 6 seconds vs 30 seconds. The blood choke eventually wins.
Do it right and pass out quickly.
