I haven't watched the video because at least when BPG bullshitted on the forum, I could confront him directly; I don't feel like getting further fired up at his bullshit from a distance. It's a dangling carrot to get worked up in impotent indignance. No thanks.
One of his regular tools was hyperbole (e.g., "some" members, "a minority" of members, "serious" doubts, questions and concerns brought up about C). I get concerned when I sense there may be hyperbole used to counter-attack, because it just weakens our position in what's set up as a moral battle should anyone go fact-checking, and I hope they do in order to see his bullshit in its full glory. So that's why I'm making the effort to clear up just one claim that I think is hyperbolic, made here and apparently on YouTube comments (according to the screenshot shared in a previous comment here): that he made "countless" goodbye threads. I sincerely do not mean to offend any of my fellow members by correcting this and clarifying it.
But of course...
Yeah okay, I suck. I mean, it's a shield of integrity that protects me from bullshit and maintains my respect for myself as well as for others, but whatever.
Anyhow, in the rhetoric of fixthe26, but not the manipulative spirit, I present for clarity...The Evidence.
BPG did three goodbye threads, a thread where he announced he was taking a break from the forum, and a thread where he announced he was leaving the forum:
Here's a link to the first goodbye thread:
The second goodbye thread was deleted. The third one was posted a day or two after the second one, here's the link:

Taken as a whole, I can see how some people felt emotionally manipulated by the repeated claims of intent to leave the forum or the planet. One can only say or feel so many times, "No! Don't go!" or "I support you but damn this is hard." It's natural to get to a point to either stop caring or to get irritated about having one's emotional investment in another person not given recognition and respect. From what I understand based on his comments and those of others, he was very active in PMs and also had off-site relationships in WhatsApp and social media.
It's not pro-suicide to get fed up with dangling threats. And unless such a message got deleted by mods before I saw it, I don't ever recall someone telling him anything like, "Oh ffs, just kill yourself already." I would say so if I'd seen that.
People can either look up facts for themselves and make informed assessments that may not match their preferences and biases, or they can feel powerful and pick up torches and pitchforks against SS or against Jeremy. All the rhetoric and manipulation is a bunch of amygdala tickling that overrides rational cognition. It's all emotion-based and distraction from actual issues. That's all fixthe26 does, including using SS as a strawman for an ulterior agenda that doesn't even have to do with this site but changing a law.
I have compassion that some of their folks have lost loved ones to suicide, just as I have and have posted about, but it doesn't excuse dirty fighting. I think people in pain have been roped in and are being used as shields, because what monster will go after a parent who lost a child to suicide? People need to use their discernment and check in with how their emotions are being manipulated so that they can avoid getting suckered in, or have the ability to pull back when they realize they've been suckered, even if they're embarassed by it. I have compassion for that, too. And I also have compassion for Jeremy, if he isn't a crisis actor.
There's just way too much fertilizer in the air.

With all due respect GPE, you have a very rigid way of viewing the world which hides behind a veil of rigor.
