Discussion Finally have our SN. (MDS to US.)

Posting so anyone else wondering can know that the package will indeed arrive to the US without issue.
Shipping took ~3 weeks with nearly 2/3rds of that it just sitting and waiting to be shipped to the US.
As far as the package itself, with how it was declared compared to how it appeared, we don't suspect it would raise any suspicions with a postal carrier. That said, we highly suspect anywhere that actually takes customs seriously would immediately open it upon passing through x-ray.
We also did NOT have to sign for it. It was shipped as a First-Class international package and delivered while we slept today.

It's so relieving having our ticket out, even though we really hope it doesn't come to needing to redeem it. We already have everything else too with exception of an optional beta-blocker.


EDIT: Please don't pm asking for source if your account is newer. While we understand wanting a source, we won't give that info to an account much newer and/or less established than ours as very few sources remain and we adamantly refuse to take even a slight risk of leading to this source being lost. Sorry.
If your account is more established, at least wait until we test our SN's purity sometime in the next week. Even then, it is not guaranteed we will respond. Really depends on how we feel in the moment and whether we feel like vetting an account as best we can and responding as both take time, and more importantly, very precious mental energy we rarely have anymore.

No, they did not open it. It arrived intact. That note was for others in other countries with strict customs to know that IF it gets sent through an xray, it would be opened. The US has notoriously lazy customs agents that only catch things like obvious drugs that alert canines, and illegal stuff sent from/to a flagged address. Other countries have much stricter customs that actually check everything.

No. "We" is used because we have DID with serious internal conflict that causes severely worsened mental health problems if we refer to ourselves in singular form to the point of becoming physically ill. Physically, we share one body. Internally, we are plural.
We should update our bio mentioning this. It is exhausting clarifying it so often. We even had to clarify it to the mods to get our account accepted after an initial (understandable) rejection..

Depends on the day. We will not make such a choice if it can be avoided, or if we are not all in agreement for an extended period of time. Most days, one of us does, one is completely neutral, and one doesn't unless certain conditions come to be but hits points she does as well if forced to front for extended periods of time. She mostly doesn't come out much anymore with how things are going as she has an immediate breakdown when she does, but still gives her input fairly often and her input is respected.

We weren't planning on it but may order the test strips while they are on sale for peace of mind. It is a little hard for us to justify spending the money right now but it would be nice to know with 100% certainty. It also seems it would be very valuable info for other members seeing as we can't find a single thread where someone has used strips to test SN from MDS.

We were planning on just blood testing it but we have managed to stop our self-harm for a few weeks now and kinda don't want to start again.
That test method is also not good for figuring out purity anyway...
Give us a few days to a week and we will post a thread with pics of testing. Aside from the strips, we need to get some small jars to store it in after breaking the vacuum seal.

How long did it take? If your prefer to tell me in pms it's fine, I just would appreciate if you'd ease my fears. Oh and have you tested it?

Please don't refer to us as "guys". "You" works perfectly fine.
"Guys" is very dysphoria inducing even though it is generally not intended to have a gender bias to it.

I am extremely sorry for any negative feelings caused, I will edit it. As someone who also suffered from dysphoria I understand the feeling.

Our personal criteria prevent us from revealing our criteria moew-so than we already have as doing so would invalidate the most important ones we have. Everyone has their own criteria, and ours may be some of the hardest to fulfill. It's nothing personal.

Of note, the original list and the N scams website we know of was made for N and there were possibly customs issues regarding N leading to that entry given that N has had a lot of attention for far longer than SN has. Even the main manufacturer of N started to take a lot of care in keeping tight control over the supply due to it being diverted from medical stock for usage in state executions which they do not at all approve of.
We don't really know what led to them being on that list and can only speculate at best. We suspect the criteria for getting on that list are as simple as someone in charge of it ordering and not receiving it OR receiving something else instead.

We will confirm what we have is indeed very pure SN in a few days or so. At the least, it appears correct in every regard that can be confirmed visually. Will be testing it with nitrite strips for absolute certainty as soon as we have everything we need (including the mental energy) to do so and can repackage our SN in a satisfactory way.

We nicely asked people not to PM us asking for source. If anyone else does so, we will simply be closing the PM without responding. We have been getting flooded with PMs mostly from newer accounts and WILL NOT share with those accounts as sources are extremely scarce and quickly becoming non-existent.
Until we test what we have, we will not share with anyone. Even then, we will make our determination on a case by case basis. We are in an awful mood and no longer have the spoons to be nice about this. Messaging us about it after we have asked members not to will HEAVILY sway us towards not even considering sharing the source. We have invisible lines we will not cross. We ask they are respected.

Also, we didn't think we would have to mention this. Do NOT ask if we will sell ours. We will not even considered it under any circumstances for any amount of money. To do so could lead to charges for assisted suicide which is something we are absolutely not willing to risk.

The problem I see is that there were a slew of new sign ups right after the IC/K Law story broke.

Not just people looking for sources but for a fact journalists and LE.

I never bought into the "LE is watching us" paranoia. Until IC blew up.

I know directly from at least one reputable journalist who still checks SaSu regularly.

So IMO really… any account younger than say March/April 2023 would have to build a rapport before sharing any info.

Remember: K Law is now under murder investigation for counseling suicide.

That could include sharing methods and sources…
