For weeks I've been gathering, drying and powdering yew leaves to put in gel capsules. I had roughly 100g all together, I just had to wait until it was warm enough and i got an extra push to go back to the streets.
I took all the pills about an hour and ten minutes ago. So far literally no symptoms. I was super worried about nausea but I don't have any. That may be because I'm eating lifesaver mints but I can't be sure.
I've had some mild palpitations but I honestly think it was from me having to rush all over the place to find a bathroom. I already get palpitations if I exert myself.
I'll keep a little log on here if anything changes. If I'm still here in a good 4-5 hours I'm gonna just go admit myself to a psychward. A bitch is tired and they at least can discharge me until they have a shelter lined up that can take me. Hopefully though I won't need it. From my research I haven't seen anyone survive 100g of yew poisoning, 50g is typically considered the lethal dose but I wanted to be extra sure. I pray I'm not just somehow immune

Yea, I'm broke and the yew tree was on the front yard of the house I was at. If I could go for a more sure way I definitely would have though

I knew nothing of this and looked it up. Apparently the red fleshy part is safe to eat. All other parts are poisonous. The seeds in particular are the most poisonous with higher levels of taxine A/B. The plant is most poisonous in winter and can survive in -20C.

Anyhow, don't mean to derail, I found it interesting to read about.

It unfortunately didn't work, I think I have minor injury to my heart but still living
I tried it while I was on the street. After a few hours I realized it wasn't working so I called the ambulance cause I was cold. Spent 3 weeks in the psych ward, I do think I caused some type of damage though. My average blood pressure is abt 130-140 over 80-90 while I was in the hospital my average was about 90 over 70. It did something but I might've had the dosage wrong? Not sure though
