I really don't know as I am new here. I think they do request to have there post deleted, maybe because they know it will be there final thread or change their mind.
Others who probably ctb sometimes simply stop posting without deleting their profile because you can see that they have not been here for years.
It's very eerie considering we know they probably ctb. More power to them as I'm hoping for that exact willpower to go through with this.

Some people ask a mod to cross their name if they decided to ctb and did not come back after x amount of time so people know they were successful.

However.. your name also gets crossed if you delete your account.
