Feeling insecure when thinking about friends' other friends

Y'all ever feel super attached to a person, only to realize that when you put it in perspective while they were your everything, they probably have so many cooler people than you in their lives. People that are not spending so much time on a suicide forum, have huge social lives, and are super successful. So then you shut down and try to deny how attached you are to them. When you put things in perspective, you're just a loser. I don't even feel like I have the right to like the person that I like.

Yes and it hurts and can feel humiliating when you realise you value them way more than they do you. It's so hard to form friendships without feeling attached to people though. I've never been all that good at the fair weather friend type thing.
