• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

It's a quiet and peaceful area. No real troubles happen hear. But sometimes it makes it a bit boring lol. You can only drive down the same street so many times. But the quiet it nice.

There's lots of food nearby, I'm close to the subway and there's a wonderful bakery a few minutes away. It's dense but not too expensive for a neighbourhood in a big city. And I live down the street from two different friends, although one of them I rarely actually see so it's more of a hypothetical benefit in that case.

The local wildlife and the parks. The main downside is it's not walkable at all.

There are too many people, but compared to almost every other place, it's not that much.
I think like one person per square kilometer is enough, but there are more than five.

Lots of nature everywhere within minutes of walking.

Lots of lakes. My area has so many lakes, it's weird how lakeless many places are. I need lakes.

There's a lot of beaches where I live. The water is too cold and polluted to swim in but the breeze and seagulls are really nice. Especially in the summer.

Suburban area, there's a lot of little parks scattered around that I like. There's a lot of trees which is nice, too. I like wandering around neighborhood streets looking at them.

I live near a nature reserve. This means that birds of all kinds can be seen in my neighborhood and backyard. We also get a lot of squirrels. A forest of my favorite trees lie just beyond my fence. This time of year, they take on the prettiest colors in the morning light. Some of it must be the angle of the sun since it's somewhat seasonal, though particulates in the air are also be doing their work. Red-sky mornings are best for the trees.

I get to have this and quick access to other natural attractions all while being no more than an hour from major cities. It works out nicely. I do wish I had better public transport though, as I hate driving.

I love our nature. I love east coast, deep in the mountains. There is nothing better in my mind than sitting outside at 2am, watching the auroras while listening to the wildlife making noise around us. Nothing scarier than a moose popping out or a fox stalking you while an owl hoots overhead.

I love all the rabbits, ducks, and cats out and all the wildlife preservation and gardens going on around my area in particular. From time to time, being able to boat out and scuba dive to see coral reefs some parts of the year is especially lovely to me. Lemon sharks are adorable! The sunset is also always beautiful.
