Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I have been telling my family again and again that I don't want to get married causes of mental issues . My father yesterday said he wants to take me to a doctor to check for any physical issues as I am saying no to getting married.

not sure if this is the same with south asian countries but ik my asian parents care a lot about the idea of saving face. do you think you could threaten to shame them somehow, if they keep pushing? of course if you're worried about them being violent, that could make things worse… idk, it's such a shitty situation, garbage that parents can do this to their own children.

oh no i have bad news for you chief… wikipedia is telling me they are doesn't surprise me, i had desi friends growing up who mentioned the expectation of an arranged marriage, and we were all living in a western country too. those kinds of cultures that trade their children like cattle are always the ones with the honour killings, it's so scary. even in the usa and the uk you hear these stories about how the daughter married someone of a different ethnicity so the family will kill her. the world is so awful and cruel sometimes.
Im so sorry, women have it so shitty in India. Best option would be to save some money and leave the country if your parents are too stubborn to change their minds. Maybe there are some organizations that could help, some feminist ones, I don't know... I'd feel so trapped if I were in that situation
I haven't rechecked the poster's history, but from (my admittedly poor) memory he's male and there are sexuality reasons behind the need to avoid being married. But, I may have miscalled this (apologies if I have).
