• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I live in a shared accommodation since more than a year now. I can't afford to stay alone as it is very expensive. My roommates take my stuff without asking and don't even return. I have to ask for my stuff ten times and only then will they give it back. They act as if they own it.
Yesterday I saw one of my roommates wearing my T-shirts which was missing for a while. I asked if it was his? He said it was. I said I had a similar one, he and the other exploitative roommates laughed and said it was mine. I just hate this, but the thing is I can't confront people and I am a people pleaser. Also our cupboard have similar locks and similar keys, so they are using my stuff when I Am not around.

If you let people do that to you then theyll do it over and over to you because theyll know you wont do anything. I dont know the solution to your case, but I would suggest doing something. If you're in some contract to pay with them then they cant kick you out. You could very well report them to the cops. Also try to give them a taste of their own medicine. It might work. You steal my stuff then Im gonna steal yours.

Sounds like you might have to learn how to be more assertive. I know that's hard if that's not how you are but it's better than bottling it up and then snapping.
Are you saying that their key works for your cupboard?
