I am tired of people praising the European healthcare system sure it's affordable but you need an appointment for everything, which could take months. I noticed strong coughing after exercise to the point of ending up in the hospital one time. They told me to get checked out for asthma I did. no asthma and the lung doctor just said that women of my generation just sit on their phones all day and I need to work out more even tho I've told him I almost pass out every time I work out. Then the cough started to appear outside of sport, my doctor told me it's probably an allergy. Spoiler it's not an allergy, and there definitely is no infection like i suggested there could be since she didn't hear anything unusual. guess what blood work came back I had pneumonia I needed to take antibiotics which I took, but the coughing didn't disappear entirely it's still there when I work out additionally i started to often have either rapidly high or low blood pressure, night sweats and short stabbing chest pain but the doctor doesn't wanna listen so I am just suffering in pain :D because doc believes I am dramatic. while being accused of not going to the doctor by the people around me.

Well. In the us, you nowadays get seen by physician assistants a lot, if you want to get seen quick. And the, for example, te assistant tells you that your stomach digests food the same way with ppis as it does without. At a premier medical university / institution.
And you pay through the nose…
Enshitification of reality and our lives is very real.

I'm currently dealing with this too and it's really annoying. I need to go to the GP to go to any other doctor first, so any time I have a health problem is just weeks of waiting and waiting, I'm currently trying to go to a psychiatrist again to get ADHD meds and people literally don't answer the phone or emails and everyone is so unhelpful, if you have anything that isn't fixable with OTC painkillers they just make you wait. I genuinely wonder how they deal with people that have something like cancer and can't afford private healthcare.

Yeah I hate it how people tell you to go to the doctor and then shit like that happens.
