• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I got an email today telling me that my therapist is no longer covered by my insurance. If I want to continue with her, I'd have to pay out of pocket costs.

Therapy isn't like getting a haircut or changing your primary care doctor. It's built on trust. It takes months, sometimes years, to feel comfortable enough to tell another person the things you've never told anyone else. The thought of starting over again is exhausting.

We're constantly told to prioritize our mental health. We're told to reach out, get help, stay consistent, put in the work. But nobody talks enough about how exhausting it is when the systems that are supposed to help you make it so difficult to actually maintain that care. It starts to feel pointless. What's the point of putting in all this effort if what little stability I had can be taken away so easily?

I'm tired of having to explain myself over and over again. I'm tired of having to adapt. I'm tired of having to find solutions for problems I didn't create. And honestly, it makes me question why I even bothered in the first place. I know I'm pretty dead set on catching the bus within the next year anyways, but it was a good space to work through some inner turmoil I've been having.

I don't really have a point I'm trying to make with this. I think I'm just disappointed.
