I'm thinking of driving a car into a river or a lake that is not surrounded by man-made barriers. I don't know how many of them are there and I can't think of a specific one. But currently I'm trying to research its efficiency before looking for one that matches the requirements. I'm not planning to make the car hit anything before falling into the water bc I want die drowning not by injuries.
I prefer this method bc it seems foolproof and doesn't have the risk of turning into a vegetable which is my biggest fears. It seems painful and scary but this is the only way you'd restrain the SI bc you can't open the door due to the high pressure of water and you won't die from trauma so even if it fails, which is very unlikely, you're not gonna suffer from long-term injury.
Is this a good idea?

I'm pretty sure you can just quite easily open the door once the car is full of water and the pressure is equal inside and outside of the car ?

really no idea how viable that kind of method is.. not sure if you could open the door after water is in there like the other poster said, but i would think by the time the water pressure is equal the car would probably be sunk pretty far down..

there is a chance the roll-down-window button would still work, but if you were trying that to escape you couldn't swim out the window immediately because water would be rushing in.. and by the time it stopped rushing in (when pressure is equal) the car would again be sunk pretty far down..

also, if your car is sinking then it makes it hard to do any thing like escape because you are kind of immobilized by the feeling of going down quickly.. same reason people can't really do much besides hold on to some thing when a plane or elevator is falling down; you can't just freely walk around and do things very easily while the thing you are in is falling..

lakes usually have ramp areas where people back their trucks to put their boat in to the water.. so i guess you could use that or the area right around there maybe if there aren't any barriers..

if you like drowning, i remember some other person mention on here once that you could take some small boat out to the middle of a lake and then handcuff your right wrist to your left ankle and then jump in the water..

if you like drowning,

I don't necessarily like drowning. I just want something to restrict the survival instinct.

I really like this method. Seems easier than the car. Thank you!
