• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

For as much as I think of death and wanting to die I find myself lacking the constitution. Is it that or do I lack the courage (or too much of a coward) or have I simply just not reached that point yet where I feel there is absolutely no hope/escape.

i would say you didnt reach that point. because if you reach that point the only goal is to CTB. nothing else matters

Being fearful of death and doing everything to prevent it is in our instincts and in the instincts of every conscious living being. Our bodies work in a way so that they can prolong our life as much as possible. Preventing you from dying is your bodies number 1 priority. You're not a coward at all, being too scared/hesitant to ctb is just wired into us. 💕

It seems that it's all I can think about. Day in day out.

When I think of others who have ctb all I can think of is how brave and courageous they are. Something I wish I had in myself.

I think it does, being brave enough to admit that it's the only way out at a certain point, and actually doing it

it is normal to have survival instinct and many suicidal people are unable to get past that. it's not really about courage, it's about instinct to survive.

There's an interesting split here I've never noticed. Some perceive overcoming si as needing courage. Others, as needing desperation. While I've always thought of it as a courageous act. One that takes massive willpower. I suppose it's probably true that the successful aren't simply the stronger minded but the more narrow minded or tunnel visioned.

Which also makes me wonder if my personality and overgrown prefrontal cortex is an inescapable barrier.

It requires (in most cases) an extreme amount of willpower

You and me both

Not sure what the word is. Whatever it is I evidently lack it.

Not sure if I should be grateful or not for having such strong SI.
