  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

According to my research, one of the symptoms of sodium nitrite poisoning is shortness of breath. Has there been anybody here that reported a distressing sense of air hunger after taking sodium nitrite?

It's more like hypoxia, and not feeling like suffocation. It will feel like you went for a jog around the block. Remember, your red blood cells can still carry carbon dioxide to the lungs...they just can't carry oxygen. So you won't feel suffocation...just like you ran for a few minutes or so.

This is offtopic (forgive me) but "air hunger" - what a fantastic phrase!

This is also something I've been wondering about. I know hypoxia and suffocation are two different reactions but could you still feel like you're suffocating during hypoxia? Sorry if my English isn't great.
