Do you wish you were better looking?

I am 33 years old man, and while many people have appreciated my appearance in my prime. I still feel and wish I was better looking. I have lost my looks due to hair loss and weight gain but still even while i was in my prime I felt not so good. During teenage Many of my friends made fun of my large head , and yes childhood abuse never let me feel good enough. I wish I was stunning, someone that people would not take their eyes off. I am so insecure and uncomfortable with the way I look, I doubt if I can ever accept my appearance.

I used to think I am ugly. I don't think I'm pretty, just average. And I know what I should do to look much better. My main complex is my voice and enunciation. I sturggle to speak fast and clearly, I can't even pronounce some letters which makes people annoyed sometimes.

No. I used to get teased for my looks and was very depressed over what I looked like. Then I realized my life would be much better if I stopped caring what everyone else thought about me, so I did. I accepted there were some things I could not change about myself and worked on the things I could. Also, I am going to fall apart as I age and that is just life.

Yeah kinda I transitioned then detransitioned and my face has some lasting effects from the hormones I look kind of unfortunate now but no big deal I'm old anyways.

I often get told I look much younger than I actually am. I've been told I look 13-14 or even younger despite being 18. I wish I looked different cus no one besides weird creeps is attracted to or wants to date someone that looks so young.

To quote Mitski, I've been big and small and I've done everything with my appearance but none of them leads to anything (neither more good friends, nor jobs, nor lovers). Now I can't care less.

My problem isn't necessarily that I think I am ugly. I don't wish I was better looking, I just wish I looked different. I have very distinct features and I wish I blended in more and had more conventionally attractive beauty.

Yup. Pretty privilege is a real thing. If I was really good looking, I'd take advantage of it to make my life easier.

Yes I feel very ugly and this is probably a big reason for why Ive never had a girlfriend and keep getting rejected by women. I'm going to die alone.

Idk, I think there are a couple of ways to make yourself better looking. You just need to be persistent with it and I know it might sound cliche, but working out consistently really does change your appearance significantly, especially if you have never worked out before. For me personally it improved a lot in terms of looks, didn't change anything in terms of happiness though.

Before I became disabled I was told on a number of occasions while working that my appearance was very "manly" by tipsy middle-aged women who enjoyed touching my beard. I did not take advantage of this and do not miss the attention because I was never capable of maintaining a sexual or romantic relationship for long before drifting away due to depression and self-isolating tendencies.
