Discussion Do you think of your family when you want ctb?

I wonder how many people think of their family, and even decide not to commit suicide because of them. At least it affects me a bit, but when I really want it, I don't think of my family, I just want to die.

I wish I could. I genuinely don't have an attachment to any of them, which makes me feel so horrible. I wish to at least care for my siblings, even if i can't muster the courage to love my parents. The only thoughts I have is I don't want to inconvenience them.

a tiny bit. My dad has finally found some lasting happiness in the past few years after his divorce and has ended up with a genuinely sweet person. He's in his 50s so he likely has 10 years of so of good health left, and 20-30 of life left in him. I really don't want to burden him with this at this time in his life.

But in the end I don't care enough to stop me from doing it. It's my life, I have a right to do what I want with it.
