i don't know. i'm scared of an afterlife in which i won't get to see my deceased loved ones, but i don't think i'm actually scared of dying.

So as a person that is an ex Christian. I'm not sure fearing death is my problem. I fear a lot of things but my survival instinct keeps playing a huge role.No. I don't fear death after living a tortured life. Ctb will be a relief

I don't believe in afterlife, I also had thought about death and feared it when I was still a child, but I don't really fear death but what comes shortly before it. I also afraid of life that is a 'fate worse than death' if you get me.

i used to be shortly after i left christianity because the thought of there not being a heaven scared me. once I'm in the void I won't feel anything anymore, so it doesn't really matter.

I was thinking the same thing. Worse yet... what if we die and a year passes by and we are reborn?
