I'm sorry about your wife and your health and the fact your life is that bad that your on this site.About three years ago my wife of 23 years died. My health was bad. I lost my house my vehicles my dogs. I had decided to ctb a couple of months ago. I was ready I had a time, place, and the stuff I needed. Ready to go. My plans got messed up and I had to put it off until the first of August. Last week my health took a turn for the worse and now I'm in afib all the time, I can't hardly catch my breath, I was already in pain all the time, I'm in stage 4 heart failure, and they put me on hospice and told me I had less than 6 months to live. I damn sure don't feel like any kind of hero. All I do is either lay in my bed or sit on the edge of it looking out the window. This is not the way to go. Now I'm even pretty sure I don't want to die. Oh and as far as MAID goes, it's only legal in a couple of states and it takes a couple years to get approved. Not a simple solution at all.
My little brother passed away from cancer 3 months ago. I swear watching him suffer was the worst emotional pain I've ever experienced in my life.
Still I wish I had a terminal illness so I could pass away. I don't want to die by CTB, smh this world is trash.
I wish you well from one struggler to another
