  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Where I live driving is necessary as I live in a rural-suburb area. I hate driving though, makes me anxious and every time I always worry I'll mess up.

I can't drive for some reason, it's like I'm broken. I swear I'm not made to fit into this society and this world. I would 100% get into a horrible accident, I have so much anxiety. Even in the passenger seat I'm always freaking out so now I never look at the road I just distract myself on my phone, because it freaks out the driver when I gasp every 5 mins. I can drive a car sort of (it's been over 10 years though so might be tricky now) but I cannot drive on the roads and with other drivers, if the road was clear then yes, I would be fine lol, what a fantasy world.
I find my friends that haven't learnt to drive, or learnt to drive late found it more difficult, and access to a car helps with just about everything in life. Easier to get too and from college, more options for jobs, more options where to live, easier to get away for a few days, join sports teams or a band.

You've only got to learn once. But if you are being forced, try and focus on a reason why having a car will be beneficial to your life.

This is my issue. I desperately wanted to learn when I was young, but my parents forbade me until I got my learners permit. And I didn't get that til I was 18, then she refused to pay for more lessons and set me up with a fucking idiot teacher who didn't speak any English, and she didn't even bother teaching me or didn't even care to. My mom forbade me because they taught my older sister at 13, and she took off with the car, so they made me suffer for it. And now I just keep pointing back to that issue as to why I don't drive and probably never will, since then I've developed a horrible phobia of driving. I feel like driving is a must, without knowing how to drive life is basically pointless imo. It just makes everything so much worse.
