Do suicide helplines normally recommend Sanctioned Suicide?

They have never heard of this site. All they know is that you are getting support from someone so obviously they are going to tell you to keep getting support. If you told them the site had resources on how to kill yourself, I highly doubt they would agree with you being here.

But Switzerland has medically assisted dying and accepts depression as sufficient for termination. Look at what happened to Norah Vincent.

exit.ch I've already gotten into contact with and got the savings to just pay for the euthanasia instead of a membership for a few years.

Well at least now when I see my next psychiatrist or psychologist I can say sasu is endorsed by SADAG so they can't tell me to stay away from sasu

Suicide HELPLINE. As in HELP with suicide. If I phone a company helpline they help with their service, they don't discourage me to not use their service.

I highly doubt it. They didn't really recommend it? You told them it was a "suicide support website". They clearly have no idea what sanctioned suicide is and what they've just "recommended" to you.

You wrote the message in a vague way such that it can be understood as a site that helps people get better and recover from suicide (which it does, although not the main focus of this site), not a site that discuss methods of taking your own life, the operator had no idea what the site is about.
