I found DMC, contacted him. He asked me why I wanted SN. I said personal research purposes. He told me to leave him alone, that he only sells to businesses etc. what the heck? Took me ages to find him. What's an alternative source for UK?

You don't need to contact him in order to buy it. I had questions I had to ask him so I messaged him, but he took so long to answer that I went ahead and brought the SN. He also asked me why I wanted the SN but I didn't know whether to be honest or not.

"Personal research purposes" sounds sketchy as hell. He turned you down because you made your intentions obviously and selling to you would be a liability.

I ordered mine a little over a month ago, but I think I remember a free-form text field where you had to indicate what you intended to use the SN for, I put in the typical usage: food preservation. Mine arrived around the middle of February, but I just opened it now. I'm a little surprised that the label specifically states, "do not give this drug to people with mental health problems!" and that by purchasing the product, you confirm you're over 21 and intend to use it for its intended purpose. I know that other people have stated that they are aware of people buying SN for other purposes, and I'm sure he's just trying to protect himself and his company.

I'm in the US and the customs declaration said it is an anti-corrosion concrete product.

DMC is most likely trying to not be known for selling "suicide kits" in case they get contacted or arrested by law enforcement, and by rejecting or otherwise telling off people who say they don't intend to use SN for its intended purpose (meat preservation), they can use that as a future legal defense by showing they made an active effort to only sell to non-suicidial people.

They know they're selling it to people who want to CTB, but on the outside and inside they're protecting themselves. If it were me answering what I'd use SN for, I'd say making jerky (which isn't a total lie, I make jerky IRL), but any answer regarding meat preservation should be enough.
