As per title. Please provide quotations, or even better, sources for any material evidencing his views on this subject.
I'd like to add that I really admire Kevorkian; his compassionate, progressive view on assisted dying is a breath of air in a stale, state-dominated prison of suffering.
His views drip with mercy and repugnance at the state's callousness and ability to mandate horrendous, unnecessary misery.
He was a man with a fire in his belly, a passion to use his considerable skills to support those in need.
To me he died a hero, a champion brave enough to face human suffering and endure the associated risks. A man that paid the price of imprisonment to help desperately ill people fulfill their wishes.
May he rest in Peace.
