All that life is, is just a temporary and useless distraction from the fact that we will inevitably cease to exist. Life as a concept serves no purpose, it only exists as a consequence of evolution. I think that to me the true tragic thing is that the existence of life was completely unnecessary, there was never a need for life to exist and yet it does. Nothing could ever justify bringing life here yet people glorify life to such an extreme extent with their delusions and they attach so much value to life when there is none actually there, individual lives are so insignificant and meaningless as after all life exists just to deteriorate and die, it's the fate of all living beings.
But yes, I do think that the world we live in is largely in denial of death. Life is seen as something to be prolonged at all costs with the focus being on to restrict suicide methods and trap people in lives filled with endless suffering. It's like people forget that we will all die anyway, if someone was to die now or in 50 years time it really wouldn't make that much difference at the end of the day, apart from preventing unnecessary years here where the person could have potentially been tortured to such extreme extents.
