DeBreather purchase, too good to be true?

So the DeBreather is latest thing out of Exit, sounds too good too be true.
Yes I have read the other posts on here.
The web site seems sketchy, clicked on the purchase button and it said to come back in February, they are working on things.
BE curios to hear if any one actually purchases one of these things. If the site is legit, better be first in line to purchase before it gets shut down.

Obviously no one could buy the device yet, the web contained errors during the process of purchasing (I tried at least ten times three weeks ago). I hope it will be available before mid February, I wanted to CTB next month.

A couple of us tried early but the web errors prevented it.

That said, I am making my own. Should be totally doable even if the original fails to deliver. I too want to get one ASAP but only because I dont think they will be in business long when these start showing up attached to dead people.

Yea I hear what you are saying, Making one of your own seems kind of complicated.
I take it you have researched this, have plans to make one?

Its not hard at all. Not only do I have plans I have components to do it juat trying to assemble something quality. Others have asked me to make plans available, we will see how it goes.

And the theory is solid; its just a Bain anesthesia circuit without the gas port.

This debreather thing will cause problems i know for sure. There is needed only one girl or boy thats under 18 years old who dies by this and this site will get banned of internet.

The lack of peacefulness was because of mask fitment and some people not liking the idea/feel of a mask iirc from reading old posts about it.

@NextBusLeaving is skeptical that the product will really go on sale on March 2nd.

The bit about the shipping having to be arranged separately is a bit off-putting. I hope they at least indicate the shipping charges before I buy the device.

Bought it, then was told because of corona virus the factory is closed. They never collected payment, and told me i would be notified once the factory opens. It sure would be nice if this makes it to the market

Well , once I got to the checkout the total was 175 US dollars which seemed cheap to me, I was expecting a 500$ price tag. However, I never saw the shipping and handling fees because I was unable to complete the order. I imagine because of the way they ship the product it could very well be over 100.00 for shipping and handling, but I am just guessing. I really don't know what the final total is. I ordered it the day the site went up and I was order # 228. So 227 people had already tried to purchase it. I imagine, if they do actually get them manufactured and do not get shut down, they will sell a lot of these at that price.

Their original story was they were in a warehouse in Las vegas and you were buying the "deed" to the product. Then once you "own it" you arrange to have it shipped from Las Vegas. For one, the design looks like it will not stay on if you roll over, secondly, this is just any way to squeeze some money out of people.

Maybe, but it's more difficult to kill someone with a debreather than with a firearm... Furthermore, what would be the interest to kill someone with a debreather ? :)
